Foundation and History

The Firm's Frankfurt office was founded in 1994. Since 1st January 2009 Attorney-at-Law Werner Gaus LL.M. is the main contact person in Frankfurt for all questions concerning the office. Mr. Gaus is supported by the Firm's Stuttgart office partners Dr. Hervé Edelmann and Matthias Thume LL.M. who are at the Frankfurt office from time to time.

The Frankfurt office has vast experience in the banking, finance and capital markets sector, liability of investment consultants and brokers in case of misconduct, trade law and corporate law. Its practice is primarily focused on rendering legal advice and handling litigation involving both domestic and multinational banks including private, savings and people's banks and mid-sized companies. The Frankfurt office has special strengths in providing advice on cross-border transactions in particular between Germany and France and countries belonging to the Anglo-American legal system.
