Dr. Schwung, Siegfried

born 1954. Studies at the universities of Mainz and Dijon; admission to the German Bar 1983 and as Foreign Lawyer in Singapore 2008; member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Arbitration Association. Dr. Schwung was assistant professor at the chair of Prof. Dr. Klaus Müller at the university of Mainz and then until 2007 corporate lawyer with Bilfinger + Berger Bauaktiengesellschaft and Daimler AG respectively DaimlerChrysler AG and Daimler-Benz Aktiengesellschaft, with respect to the latter for example as Vice President & General Counsel Product and Vice President & General Counsel Truck Group. He so gained extensive experience in all areas of business law in particular also in the Asia-Pacific region. Dr. Schwung is the author of various publications, inter alia on cross border transactions.

Areas of practice: international procedural law, arbitration, private international law, commercial law, company law, capital market law, product safety and product liability law.
