Dr. Asal, Martin

(born 1964) Dr. Martin Asal studied at the Universities of Tübingen, Heidelberg and Munich and was a research assistant at the University of Munich (chair of Prof. Dr. Badura). He was admitted to the German Bar in 1996. Dr. Asal is a member of the German Association for Construction Law and the Working Group "Construction Law" of German Lawyers' Association. He published various articles on construction, environmental and land planning law.
Areas of practice:
public and private building and construction law (including plant construction), commercial leases, architectural law, public land planning and environmental law.
Dr. Asal acts for employers, contractors, architects, engineers, real estate developers and public entities. He predominately advises on building projects, both domestic and internationally. In particular he drafts and administers engineering and construction contracts and is familiar with the nationally and internationally established standardized forms of contract. Furthermore, Dr. Asal advises on the development of new zoning law and manages the administrative procedures concerning the necessary construction and environmental permits. If necessary, he enforces clients' interests in court.
