born in 1977; Carolin Freifrau Schenck zu Schweinsberg-Zügel studied law and history of art at the Universities of Freiburg im Breisgau, Bonn and Aberdeen (Master of Laws). In the course of her studies she had stays and legal traineeships in Toronto, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Vancouver, and was admitted to the German Bar in 2007. Prior to joining Thümmel, Schütze & Partner in 2008, she was a lawyer with a reputable US-American law firm.
