Prof. Dr. Dietmar Ehrlich

born in 1941; Prof. Dr. Ehrlich studied law at the University of Würzburg until conferral of his doctorate. He was admitted to the German Bar in 1974. From 1972 until 2004 Prof. Dr. Ehrlich was member of the legal department of a large German bank where he held a position as general counsel for many years. Since 1989 Prof. Dr. Ehrlich has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Economic Science of the University Tübingen. Since 2000, he has been a honorary professor in the same faculty. In 2006, he joined Thümmel, Schütze & Partner as of-counsel for the Area of Expertise of Banking Law and Capital Markets. He is the author of several publications in the area of banking law, with a focus on external trade.
