Dr. Jochen Baier

born in 1980; Dr. Jochen Baier studied law at the Universities of Tübingen and Rostock. He was awarded his doctorate by Prof. Dr. W. Möschel at the University of Tübingen for his thesis on "The effects doctrine in US-Anti-trust law with special consideration of the Empagran-case law". Prior to joining Thümmel, Schütze & Partner in September 2008, Dr. Baier worked as an Associate in the Capital Markets Group of Linklaters. He was admitted to the German Bar in 2007. Dr. Baier voluntarily acts as legal adviser to the German Life Saving Association's Regional Committee Württemberg (DLRG Landesverband Württemberg e.V.).
