Dr. Martin Asal

born in 1964; Dr. Martin Asal studied law at the Universities of Tübingen, Heidelberg and Munich and was an assistant lecturer at the University of Munich (chair of Prof. Dr. Badura). He was admitted to the German Bar in 1996. Dr. Asal is a member of the German Association for Construction Law and the Working Group "Construction Law" of the German Lawyers' Association. He has published various articles on construction, environmental and land planning law.

Dr. Asal acts for industrial enterprises with a focus on construction and engineering companies, project development companies and engineers, as well as for investors and public entities. He predominantly advises on projects, both domestic and international- among these are major plant and infrastructure projects, like the railway project "Stuttgart 21". Several projects have been realized as PPP/PFI projects. Furthermore, Dr. Asal provides extensive experience in planning and environmental law.
